This 15 acre (6ha) shrimp producing farm is located on the South Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. The farm is fully titled and there are 6 different ponds of 2.5acre each. There are 4 different production cycles per year and the total production comes up to 36 tons of shrimp per year. At the moment only 40% of the capacity is being used. To double the production one would have to oxygenate the water though.
If one wanted to expand the business there would be the possibility to buy some adjoining land and make more ponds, because the land belongs to the same owner.
All the permits are in place and even an export license exists.
