This 190acre shrimp farm is located in Guanacaste and is bordering the Gulf of Nicoya. There are 100acres of water surface in 11 different ponds. Production is from March to January. For 2 months the ponds are kept dry and shortly before filling up the basins again in March the soil is being raked to release nutritives of the ground.
Any point of the farm is accessible by car. The farm is in production and the annual net profit is app. 18%. This farm would also serve to raise sea fish like Red Snapper!
Most shrimp farms bordering the ocean are concession land, but this farm is fully titled! Since there is still a lot of unused land one could either add some more ponds and expend production or use the extra land for agriculture.
