This 22 acre farm is located in the southwestern part of the Nicoya Peninsula at an altitude of about 750m. Though the farm is situated in the mountains the terrain is softly undulated with many natural plateaus with ocean view and almost the whole land is usable. From the top of the property you have awesome ocean views over 100km of coast line. It is like being on top of the world.
There are no direct neighbors and in direction to the ocean the neighboring land has an abrupt decline of 300 to 400m. The adjoining land consists of few hundred hectares of protected forest where a great variety of wild animals are at home.
The biggest plateau of the farm is right on top of the mountain with this great panoramic ocean view. On this plateau sits the main house with its 5000ft² of indoor living space and 3000ft² of terraces and pool. There is so much space on this plateau that you could still build many more structures and have parking for 30 cars or more. Right beside the main house there is also a space designated as helipad.
The main house is in three levels. On the lowest level there is an independent apartment and 2 utility rooms. The main level consists of a big living/dining area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms each with its own bath, a guest toilet and a laundry room. The top floor offers a master bedroom with walk-in closet, a large bath and a big roof-terrace with built in yacuzzi. Around the house there are various terraces and an infinity pool.
The grey structure of the main house is finished. Details are still missing like overall paint work, floor tiling, the kitchen furniture and fixtures, fitting out the separate bathrooms, as well as finishing pool and terraces.
Regarding doors and windows we have already finished two rooms to give the buyer an impression of the style. These are custom made solid wood doors which give the house a rustic but elegant touch. Regarding floor ceramics, we have already equipped two rooms with rustic Spanish-style tiles and would recommend this kind of flooring throughout the entire house. Also the plaster of the house is rustic and has an adobe appearance.
The 70m²guest house consists of a living/dining room with integrated kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 bath and a terrace. This house is fully furnished and ready to move in.
There are trails all around the property to enjoy the natural ambience.
Water supply is guaranteed by natural spring water. There are 2 springs on the property of which only one is being used at this moment. The water system includes a 15m³ water tank at the bottom of the property next to the spring and a 12m³ water tank above the house. A computerized pump system takes care of the estate’s water supply. Next to the tank on top of the property a pressure pump and pressure tank are installed to guarantee constant water pressure throughout the house.
The access to the property is good all year around. There is a national road passing the property at the bottom at a distance of 500m from the main house. Further one could fly in by helicopter which would take from Liberia International Airport at the most 15 minutes.
Because of the complete privacy and the pure natural ambience the property has to offer it would serve perfectly well for someone who wants to escape the stress and hectic of the city and professional life.
Because of the big amount of building space with ocean view the estate would serve also well as top notch mountain hotel, medical rehabilitation center, exclusive yoga retreat or similar. The main building on the top could be used for communal purposes while one builds guest rooms on the various plateaus.
