I am a German national who has travelled the world quite a bit.

In 1993 I came to Costa Rica with my husband and our three children.  We came here with a motor home after travelling through the United States and Mexico.  We first settled down in a small village in the highest mountain range of the Nicoya Peninsula where we bought a farm and built a house.  We were the first foreigners living in that area – pioneers so to say.

Since that time we have been working in real estate bringing quite a few foreigners into the area who also settled down here.

I am working on my own now because my husband and I separated a while ago.

For me the Nicoya Peninsula,  especially the area I live and work in,  is still one of the nicest areas in Costa Rica. The climate, the tranquility, the people and, last but not least, the beautiful ocean, gulf and valley views speak for their own.
